Marcus, 33. Ellie, 25. Gina, 18. Three young people from different generations are working at a kids drama camp over the summer. They’re all trying to work out what it means to be “successful”. How do you become an adult and not feel like a loser? Marcus is an actor who can’t get work and shuns the narcissism of the industry (whilst remaining desperate to belong to it). Ellie is a straight-laced “recent grad” who’s lost her job, boyfriend and flat and has had to move home for the summer… but it’s “just a blip”. Gina is a party girl and a secret dancer who’s just failed all her A-Levels. Each longs for some kind of transformation.
